Steve Hill, the owner and founder of K9 Nation Louisiana, has loved and cared for dogs since he was a young boy. For generations, The Hill family has bred and trained dogs. When Steve was young, he began what became a life long fascination with dogs. Although it was informal, he learned how dogs think, act, communicate and learn through that experience. To further his experience, Steve sought out the best dog trainers, so he could learn from them. Steve has graduated from the Michael Ellis School for Dog Trainers, as well as Bart Bellon’s NePoPo School and the prestigious Training Without Conflict School with Ivan Banavelov!

The Michael Ellis School for Dog Trainers is of the finest in the world and provides extensive instruction and advanced education. In the eyes of Steve Hill, it was a privilege to have learned from Michael Ellis, and his canine training has benefited from it immensely. Hill was also a gold-level graduate from Bart Bellon’s NePoPo School, where he learned skills that would last him a lifetime. Hill cherishes his time at both schools, as well as the knowledge he gained. Steve also trained and certified with Ivan Balabanov, at His Private academy “Training Without Conflict”. Steve strives to put the techniques and skills taught to him into practice every day. While all three schools are different, all are top-level trainers and training systems. As a result of those influences, we feel positive we can construct a training plan for your goals.
