BOARD & TRAIN

The Dog Training Immersion Program

Which Program is Right for You?

The Private sessions are great if you have the time and patience to work with your pup. Some people love the idea and they excel with this option. It is slower than the Board and Train Immersion Program, but not everyone is in a huge hurry.

Immersion Program

The Board and Train Immersion Program is a great option if: you are committed to the process and want the highest possible training for you and your pup.

Both options have great value and will help you and your pup live a better life together.

Not everyone will fit the Immersion Training Program. I don't take a dog and make it a robot. I train the dog and then train the owner. It just works best this way…. In the past I would only train the dog. The dog did great but the owners were not ready to handle the trained dog so the dog regressed. It breaks my heart when this happens.. So!!!! I decided to make it an interactive process. This program will ensure that you and the dog are on the same page and living your best life together. Immersion Training for dogs AND owners for the best possible outcome.

Revolutionize Your Dog's Behavior: Immersion Training for Dogs
at The K9 Nation

If your dog is regularly misbehaving, it can be a significant stressor on your day-to-day life. When it comes to young dogs and puppies, just like with children or babies, the weight of the attached responsibility can sometimes feel like a burden. With the K9 Nation you don’t have to carry that burden alone. We offer a state-of-the-art canine  immersion training program for dogs six months and older. During this intensive program, your dog will experience the equivalent of six months’ worth of training in just 4 weeks. The K9 Nation Owner Steve Hill will work directly with your dog, so you can rest assured your fur baby is in the best of hands.

How Board & Train:
The Immersion Program
Works

The process entails  weeks of intense training.

In this video you will begin feeding your dog a certain way, as well as begin the “Marker System"  It is very important to watch this video and begin the process one week out from drop off.  After watching the video you can contact Steve and ask any questions that may be hanging around.

This workshop will begin the training process for the human side of the team.  The workshop will equip  you to keep your pup going in the right direction.  Teach you how to hold the dog accountable and how to correct any mistakes the dog may make in the future.

What vaccinations are required for my dog?

We require the following vaccinations for your dog or puppy.

  • DHLPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus) – After the puppy series and 1-year booster, every 3 years. We will accept your veterinarian’s recommendation as long as it is within the AAHA/AVMA guidelines. Puppies must have at least 2 vaccinations of the puppy series.

  • Rabies – After the puppy vaccination and 1-year booster

  • Bordetella – Every 6 months.

  • We require vaccinations records and strongly recommend giving the vaccinations at least 5 days prior to your check-in date. This will give your dog’s immune system a chance to respond to the vaccination prior to their stay and the dog to recover if the shots cause side effects.

  • It is recommended that puppies receive the second vaccination of their puppy series two weeks prior to checking in to their first visit with us.

TESTIMONIALS

If you want someone who truly loves dogs then K9 Nation La is the place to be, Steve is an excellent trainer and he devotes a lot of time, energy and love into the animal he is training. He has helped me so much working with me and Dallas. They also do grooming and boarding. They groomed my Siberian husky and she was beautiful when they finished. So I highly recommend the facility to meet you and your dog's needs.
